the notebook (final)

When Lon proposed to Allie, she said yes but couldn’t help the fact that Noah instantly popped into her head. Noah was her first true love but she still couldn’t understand it. She hadn’t spoken to Noah in years, in fact she hadn’t spoken to him since that one summer night when they had an argument over her parents and he said that it was over. Her parents packed up and left town the next day, dragging Allie along with them. She was completely in love and happy with Lon but she knew she had to go see had to go see Noah. She needed closure. The closure she never got.
When Allie arrived at Noah’s house that he had built especially for her, she was shocked to see him. She couldn’t believe that it was actually him standing in front of her and that he had built the house exactly the way she had told him to. She almost couldn’t even move when she saw his face. It took her back to that summer that they had spent together, the summer that they had fallen completely head over heels for each other.
She and Noah spent the next few days together. They caught up on the time they hadn’t see each other and on their plans for their future. They were still in love. How could they not be? Neither of them knew what was about to happen, if they did, then Allie might have stayed well away from Noah in the first place. They made love, time and time again. Noah just wanted to make Allie happy. That’s all he’s wanted to do ever since he met her, and that’s why he built the house, for her, to make her happy.
Allie’s mother came to Noah’s house. Of course Allie was surprised to see her. But her mother decided that Allie was now old enough to know what she had been hiding. She gave Allie a bunch of letters.
“All this time you hid them from me?!”
“It was for your own good, Allie. You two were living completely different lives, there’s no way that you could’ve stayed together”, her mum tried to explain, but Allie didn’t want to hear it. She was infuriated that her mother did that to her. “Oh and Al, Lon’s in town”.
“What? Lon’s in town?”
Her mother simply nodded and drove away. Allie knew that she had to make a decision. She now had to decide between Lon and Noah. She needed to be completely honest, not just to herself but to them as well. She and Noah had just spent the past few days together and they had been amazing. She had never felt so much passion with someone before. And the fact that she lost her virginity to Noah made her decision that much harder. On the other hand, she was happy with Lon. He completely trusted her; they had built a life together and had so many plans for the future. And the best thing is that she and Lon never fought. She had made her decision.
She immediately went and found Noah. She explained everything to him hoping that he would understand. “Noah I came to tell you that I’ve made up my mind”, she said cautiously.
“And?”
“Noah, I...I... really don’t know how to say this without hurting you”, she stammered, trying to find the courage to say what she had come to say, “I chose Lon”.
“Lon? You chose Lon over me?”
A silence fell over them as Allie tried to explain that she still wanted Noah in her life she just wanted him as a friend and not as a lover. She also tried to explain how when they’re together, all they do is constantly argue. They can’t even go 5 minutes without disagreeing on something so small.
There were so many thoughts rushing through Noah’s head. He felt like she had just ripped his heart out and thrown it in the fire to burn. And she might as well have because he didn’t want to lose her again, he couldn’t lose her again. That one summer changed his whole life, like he couldn’t have ever even imagined. Even though it was just meant to be a summer fling, he felt like it was forever. He thought that she felt it too. Why would she have chosen Lon over him anyway? Have the past few days meant nothing to her? Was she just using him because she was temporarily bored with Lon? He might not have been able to offer her everything that Lon could, but he was willing to love her and look after her until the end of his days. And he was certain that Lon was incapable of doing this half as well as he could. And he was sure that Allie knew all of this, but she was still choosing Lon over him. Noah’s thoughts all of a sudden drifted to the time he first saw Allie. He never did believe in love at first sight, but the first time he laid eyes on her, his world was changed forever. He knew he had to talk to her that night at the fair many years ago. He was drawn to her; he just had to be close to her. She was the one he wanted. But he couldn’t have her. She wanted Lon. The way he saw it, he lost her once, he could do it again.
Allie drove away in tears, a complete mess. There was no way that she wanted to read the 365 letters that Noah had written to her all those years ago. She didn’t want to bring up those memories again. So she threw them all out the window. She drove straight to the hotel, the only one in town, knowing that Lon would have to be staying there. When she got there she explained everything to Lon. The fact that she had made love to Noah, the fact that she had been staying with him for the past few days to try and sort her head out.
“I know what I did was wrong, but it made me realize that I don’t want Noah anymore. We have no future together, but you and I do and I love you Lon. I still want to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you”
Lon’s thoughts were racing. He didn’t know what to think. He didn’t know what to do or how to react. If she really and truly loved him then why would she have this to him in the first place?
“Allie, I love you. But I doubt that you love me the same way that I do, otherwise you wouldn’t had done what you did and hurt me so. I don’t want to marry you. The wedding is off”
Lon packed his stuff and drove away. Allie was astounded. She was left speechless. How could Lon have done this to her? She felt so drained she didn’t know what else to do. She too packed her stuff and drove back to Noah’s. She knew that Noah would take her back. He would have to.
“No”, Noah said bluntly.
“No? But why?”, exclaimed Allie.
“Because I’m not your first choice. I don’t want you back”
Allie felt drained as she drove away from Noah’s house for the second time today. How could this happen? Just over an hour ago she had two people that were completely in love with her and wanting to spend the rest of their lives together and now she had no one. She didn’t know what else to do but cry.

Last breakfast at Tiffany's with him(finished)

This story is based on the movie” Breakfast at Tiffany's". Before you read it, i just want to make sure when the sentences which are in '~~' it means that the phrase are from Holly (main character’s) dairy.
I hope you guys enjoy reading my story^^

It was a cold winter, when Holly has gone, Holly is with Paul more than ever and she will not be forgotten. The only thing that she has left in this world was her diary. The diary of her life and love story in New York.

'It is a paradise living in New York. I love New York and I absolutely love my apartment. The reason I chose this apartment was the fact that I can’t see the building of Tiffany's outside on my veranda. I love Tiffany's. I will do anything to buy in Tiffany's, even if I have to marry a wealthy man like Jose, I don't care if this marriage have no love because I don't believe love at all. All I need is money.'

Her dream was to marry a wealthy man, so she can buy anything she wants in Tiffany's. Her dream has almost come true except a wealthy man, Jose, hasn't proposed her yet.

'Someone knocked on the door in the early morning so I opened the door. An attractive man was standing outside and he said "hello, my name is Paul, I live down stairs, I am sorry to bother you but could I use the phone? And sorry to wake you up" and I said "sure, why not darling". And he came into my house and used phone. He said he is a writer and I guess he is not a rich writer. Well if he was wealthy I would definitely fall in love with him and marry him. In fact, it is true that he is more attractive than Jose. Than I realised I had a date with Jose.'

Holly totally forgotten about the date with Jose.
"Is this Thursday darling?" she asked
"I think so."
"Thursday! It can't be! It is too gruesome!"
"Well, uh...what is so gruesome about Thursday?"
"Nothing, except I never remember when it is coming up, Wednesdays I generally just don't go to bed because I have to be up to catch the 10:45am bus."
And she told Paul about Jose and how she is late for a date with Jose.

'One day Paul asked me for a dinner tonight, and of course I accepted, because we are friends and I tried not to fall in love with him because I don't believe it, but...I guess I couldn't stop feeling of love I think I am already into it.'
"I will tell you one thing, Paul, darling. I'd marry you for your money in a minute. Would you mary me for my money?
"In a minute." he said.
"I guess it is pretty lucky neither of us is rich, huh?:" she said
And suddenly he kissed her.
That night she couldn't sleep, she was so nervous about what happened that day.

Few days later she went to hospital, she was very sick. And she asked to repeat what doctor said to her. She couldn't believe that she had this incurable disease.

'It was a tragedy thing to hear that I have incurable disease, I felt regret about that I should marry with Jose earlier so I can buy anything in Tiffany's. And poor my friend Paul....'

"Moon river,
wider than a mile
I m crossing you in style someday
Oh dream maker, you heartbreaker
Wherever you re going, I m going your way.
Two drifters, off to see the world.
There s such a lot of world to see.
We re after the same rainbow s end,
Waiting round the bend, My huckleberry friend,
Moon river and me."
Paul was listening to Holly singing a song sadly.

For few weeks Paul couldn't see Holly anywhere. He was worried about her. Actually he was ready to propose her.

'For few week i was in hopital, I told Jose about my incurable diseas and he said he is going to pay for treating...well there is no treatment for my illness except pain medication. I tried to avoid Paul, I know he loves me, I don't want to heart him so I decided to lie to him that I am going to marry Jose and leave New York.'

Holly invites Paul to her house for a dinner. And she started to talk about that she is going to leave here
"I am sorry darling, Im leaving here in a week with Jose, and I am going to marry him."
"Has he proposed you?"
"Oh, not yet but i thing he will...soon..."
"Holly, I love you .....you belong to me"
"No, people don't belong to people and nobody is going to put me in a cage"
"You know what is wrong with you, Holly? you are chicken. You got no guts. You are afraid to say, "ok, life is a fact". People do fall in love. People do belong to each other, because that is the only change anbody's got for real happiness. You call yourself a free spirit, a wild thing. You are terrified somebody is going to stick you in a cage. Well baby, you are already in that cage. You built it yourself. And it is not bounded by tulip, texas, or somaliland. It is wherever you go. Because no matter where you run, you just end uprunning into yourself. Here. I have been carrying this thing aroun for months. I don't want it anymore."
It was a ring from Tiffany's
"darling If you love me....you will heart..I don't want you to heart"
"What do you mean?"
Holly decided to tell him the truth. There was no other way to avoid the fact.
"I am.....dying.....I have this disease....can't even cure...and no treatment.....yes I am afraid of dying and I am afraid...that I love you. I don't know how many days left until.....until...."
Than she couldn't say another word.
They were looking at each other for a long time.
"Holly, it doesn't really matter how many days are left for you and...us. It is matter that I love you and you love me."
"Paul...darling...yes I love you............"
"I am sure there is a miracle for you.

Their love and for Holly, unfortunately did not end in miracle.
She passed away in a cold winter day at 9:45am in Her house.
She left a message to Paul.

'Last breakfast at Tiffany's with you was a precious memory for me.
I was glad that there was special someone to spend the rest of your life with
Thank you and I love you.'

My character is Winnie comes from the movie The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Winnie is a lovely and smart bear whose greatest interest is eating honey. Now, I hope you guys can enjoying my fan fiction.

Winnie’s special day

One day morning, as usual, Winnie got up early and opened the window: what a beautiful day! The sun is shine, birds are singing, and the wind is so comfortable. Winnie stared at the sky and said to himself: “Well, I m a little bit hungry now…How I wish I can get some honey for my breakfast…The only reason for being a bee is to make honey. And the only reason for making honey is so I can eat it!”

So Winnie tried to get some food to serve his stomach. However, although he found the whole house, he can find nothing to eat, nor his favorite honey.

Therefore, Winnie walked to the village and thought: “Maybe my brother Tiger or Piglet can give me some delicious food.” On the contrary, some strange thing happened: the village is especially quiet that day---- the environment is no change, but he can see nobody! What’s happened?

Winnie felt so amazed and shouted loudly: “Is there anybody here? Isn’t there anybody here at all?” While nobody answered him.

Winnie felt extremely disappointed and lied on the land, suddenly; a piece of paper was going with the wind from the air and fell before Winnie; it’s a simple map with a sentence: “Do you want honey? Just follow the direction…..”

Winnie stared at the map for quite a long time and thought aloud, “Where does the map come from? Isn’t true? Or May be someone is making fun of me?”

He felt so contradictory and said to himself: “What shall I do? The honey……en… so sweet, so delicious, so…oh, I cannot endure the painful of losing it.” Finally, he made up his mind that he should try his best effort to find his beloved honey.

Winnie went home and collected some belongings, and then started to find the honey. First of all, he should go through the forest.
“Oh, that’s easy for me, because I m playing here every day!” Winnie-the-pooh said with a smile in his face.

He kept walking and came to an open place in the middle of the forest, and in the middle of this place was a large oak- tree, and suddenly, he heard a loud buzzing- noise.

Winnie- the- Pooh sat down at the foot of the tree, put his head between his paws and fell in deep thought. Suddenly, he saw Kanga, who is a very kind lady.

Winnie then said to Kanga: “Do you think the buzzing- noise means something? Does that mean there are some bees nearby? And do the bees mean some honey available around, so….? ”

Kanga laughed for a while, and said deeply and slowly: “No Distraction or You Lose Everything!”

“Oh, no! I should not make that kind of dream.” Winnie suddenly remembered that he once got badly hurt, just because he tried to get some honey from the honeycomb.
“En…I think I’d better follow the map.” Winnie-the-pooh thought for a while and kept walking until he came to the end of the forest.

Everything went smoothly and Winnie got extremely excited when he thought he was to get his favorite honey very soon, and he couldn’t help singing:
Tra-la-la, tra-la-la, Tra-la-la, tra-la-la, Rum-tum-tiddle-um-tum. Tiddle-iddle, tiddle-iddle, Tiddle-iddle, tiddle-iddle, Rum-tum-tum-tiddle-um.

All at once, he stopped his steps and songs because a river appeared just in front of him, and he cannot go any further unless he across the river.

“Oh, my god!” Winnie shouted: “How can a bear cross the river without a bridge?” Disappointed and frustrated, Pooh walked back and forth, and sighed. He tried one of his feet into the river, but the water flowed so urgent that he had to pull back. He sat down for a while and ready to go back….

Just when Winnie was going to give up, Eeyore present himself before Winnie. Winnie used to help Eeyore to repair the house, so Eeyore was very grateful to him.

He said happily to Pooh: “Hi, Winnie, how are you. Why do you look so sad?”

“NO, not good.” Winnie said slowly, “I have to cross the river, but you see, there is no bridge, and I cannot swim…”

Eeyore thought for a while, and said: “That’s easy, I think I can help you. Just come to my back and then I can send you there!”
“Oh! Really? Em…that’s very kind of you! Em… thank you, my friend!”

Very quick, with Eeyore’s help, Winnie arrived to the other side of the river.

Winnie followed the map and kept walking. Finally, he reached the destination---- It’s a big cave, black and empty! He stepped slowly, cautiously, with his eyes looking around. He came to the center of the cave.

Suddenly, a group of people ran from the other side of the cave, with a very birthday cake on a small trolley! The most exciting thing is that the cake is all coved with honey! And, afterwards, he saw that his friend piglet, Christopher Robin, Kanga, Roo,Eeyore, and ETC.

Winnie stared and shouted: “ Oh! My gosh ! Its honey! My favorite honey! …Oh, I know its my birthday today…!”

Final

::: I changed the story from 5 children to 4, just because I felt like it was a little dragged out. Also, the ending might seem a little "open to interpretation" but I think you get the gist of it...? :::

Charlie didn’t know what to expect as he stood behind the gates of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Waiting eagerly alongside 4 other lucky ‘Golden Ticket’ winners, the day he had been dreaming of for as long as he could remember had finally come – the day he would meet Mr. Wonka, and step foot into his Chocolate Factory. After a moment of quiet anticipation, the front factory doors swung open and a distant figure came strolling into view – none other than Mr. Wonka himself. Charlie and the three other children stared in awe as he approached them. Cane in hand, Willy Wonka stopped just before the gate, swung his arms into the air, and in showy fashion the gate doors parted harmoniously.

“Welcome children! You five have been fortunate enough to each find a Golden Ticket! As reward, you are cordially invited to a tour of my Chocolate Factory, and ONE of you will even learn the secret ingredient… to my infamous Wonka chocolate!”

Charlie’s eyes lit up at the thought. Could he really be that ONE?

Willy Wonka shook hands with each of the children, Charlie being the last.

“And what might your name be?”“Charlie Bucket, Mr. Wonka!” he exclaimed.

Willy Wonka seemed a little surprised by his enthusiasm, a large grin soon spreading across his face. Without any further words, Willy Wonka stood upright, directed his cane to the Chocolate Factory entrance doors and yelled “Let’s go children!”The children excitedly raced on in, Willy Wonka following soon after. As the doors closed behind them, Willy Wonka’s grin grew even wider…

After a while of travelling through maze-like halls and bizarre lopsided rooms, Willy Wonka and the children reached a single door.

“You are now about to enter the nerve centre to the entire Wonka factory. Inside this room all of my dreams become realities, and some of my realities become dreams. And almost everything you see is edible…”

“Let me in I’m starving!” hefty boy Augustus cried hungrily.

“Now don’t get over-excited, don’t lose your head Augustus. We wouldn’t want anyone to lose that!” He warned.

Willy Wonka soon turned the door knob, revealing a room made entirely out of chocolate and candy. The children darted off in all directions, unable to control their cravings.

Willy Wonka loomed upon a busy Augustus, slurping as much his pudgy hands could cup from a pool of chocolate milk.

“You seem to be enjoying that, Augustus.”

Drinking greedily, Augustus took no notice of Willy Wonka standing right behind him. A smile wiped across his face as he peered down at the boy.

“I told you not to get over-excited…”Willy Wonka muttered, suddenly pushing an unaware Augustus into the pool. Too heavy to support himself, a flailing Augustus was soon submerged and out of sight.

After Willy Wonka rounded up the three remaining children, they arrived at a room full of machines, strange contraptions, buttons and levers.

“Welcome to the experimenting room!” Willy Wonka announced. “Here is where all the wondrous chocolate and candy gets tested! I’ve been working on something I call ‘Three-Course-Dinner Gum’, would anyone like to try it?”

“Me!!!” A girl Violet yelled. She quickly walked up to Mr. Wonka, snatched the gum from between his fingers and dropped it into her mouth.

After excitedly describing the various gum flavour changes from breakfast to lunch to dinner, Violet’s expression suddenly turned sour.

“I feel a little strange…”

Violet’s entire body began to inflate to the point where she had become a human ball. The children’s mouths dropped at the sight, but were quickly escorted out by Willy Wonka’s workers.

“Help me Mr. Wonka!” Violet pleaded.

Willy Wonka approached Violet, so round she was helpless to move on her own. With a large grin on his face, he raised his hand to Violet’s view, revealing a giant pin. Violet’s eyes enlarged with fear.

“Pop!” He laughed.

With only Charlie and one other child left, a girl named Veruca, they soon found themselves at a room with large white geese sitting on lavish red pillows atop individual pillars.

“This, children, is the Golden Egg Room! Why is it called so? Because these geese before you lay exactly that! Golden eggs!”

“I want one!” Veruca cried.

“I’m sorry Veruca, these aren’t for sale.”

“What? But I want one and I want it NOW!!!” Veruca demanded.

“Okay, okay, calm down! Let’s try to work something out.” Willy Wonka assured, taking a huffy Veruca by the shoulders and leading her to the centre of the room.

“What am I standing here for?”

“Just wait right there…” Willy Wonka whispered.

He swiftly reached for a lever on the wall and slammed it down. The floor beneath Veruca’s feet collapsed and she instantly fell through without another word.

Charlie, seeing the whole thing turned to Willy Wonka in confusion.

“Mr. Wonka! What did you do that for!?”

He faced Charlie, smiling from ear to ear.

“Charlie, come with me...”

The two travelled down a flight of stairs, the further down they went, the darker it became. They finally reached a large metal door.

“This, Charlie, is the moment you have been waiting for. You have won, Charlie! YOU are the lucky one who gets to find out the secret ingredient to my infamous Wonka Chocolate, and it’s right behind this door!”

“But where are the others?” Charlie stammered.

“Right here!” Wonka exclaimed as he pulled the door open, a wave of heat exuding from within.

A look of horror crept across Charlie’s face.

“That’s right…" Willy Wonka said. "YOU are the secret ingredient! You all are…”
